BIRTH TO AGE 2 EARLY INTERVENTION SERVICES

Early intervention services are a collection of services families may need if there is a concern that a child may have developmental delays and/or health care needs. Elkhorn Public Schools provides free evaluations for children from birth to age 2 for early intervention services.

Please complete the form below to begin the process to determine Early Intervention Services eligibility. Additional information about the Early Intervention Services process can be found here.

PRESCHOOL PROGRAM (AGES 3-5)

The Elkhorn Public Schools Preschool Program is dedicated to cultivating a community of families and teachers working together to provide a safe, positive, and developmentally appropriate environment for our youngest learners. Our preschool population is made up of children with an identified disability (in accordance with NDE Rule 51), children who are at-risk in their learning, and children who are typically developing. Children interested in attending the EPS Preschool Program must already be receiving special education services or must be identified through our screening process as a child at risk for learning or a child developing typically for their age.

Applications are now being accepted for attendance for the 2023-2024 school year. Please complete this form if you are interested in having your child screened as a potential EPS Preschool Program student beginning in August 2023.  Additional information about the program can be found here.  Specific questions about the program should be directed to Valerie Jensen at vjensen@epsne.org.
