The Elkhorn Public Schools Preschool Program is dedicated to cultivating a community of families and teachers working together to provide a safe, positive, and developmentally appropriate environment for our youngest learners.  Specific questions about the EPS Preschool Program should be directed to Tracie Burton at tburton@epsne.org.

Preschool Schedule

Monday – Thursday 8:20 am – 11:30 am or 12:20 pm – 3:30 pm

Preschool Screening

Children ages 3-5 interested in attending the EPS Preschool Program must already be receiving special education services or must be identified through our screening process as:

  • A child with an identified disability (in accordance with NDE Rule 51)
  • A child who is at-risk in their learning
  • A child who is typically developing and has reached a level of maturity that would make them a great peer model

Peer Model

Students who are identified as typically developing will serve as peer models and will fill a limited number of placements each school year. A monthly tuition of $180 is required for a child who is identified as typically developing to serve as a peer model.

Preschool screening applications are now being accepted for the 2024 – 2025 school year
