Welcome to Skyline!

Skyline Elementary serves students in Kindergarten through 5th grade within the Elkhorn Public Schools. When you visit Skyline, you’ll quickly learn that our school is rooted in traditions, community, family, and of course, student learning. It’s truly an amazing place to be for students and staff alike!

Our teachers are dedicated to continuous school improvement. They are committed to finding the most effective ways to teach our students, and doing whatever it takes to help each student succeed and grow to their fullest potential.  Everyone at Skyline – from our front office to our custodians – is a part of our mission. Skyline staff want school to be a fun, engaging, and safe place that students want to be! Our students exhibit kindness and work together to support each other both academically and socially.

This year our school’s theme is “Stallions Have Heart!” inspired by a book for teachers and leaders by Timothy Kanold. Skyline staff will be reading and thinking about how to use their “heart” to build even better relationships with their students and colleagues, how to be a great teammate, and how to use those relationships to make a stronger impact on students. Our students will be reading The Energy Bus for Kids by Jon Gordon this year during our multi-age classroom time called Stallion Circles. There, we’ll talk about having a positive vision for our life and showing kindness to others. We can’t wait to see what the power of positivity and strong relationships within our school community can do for our students and staff this year! It’s a great time to be a Stallion!

If you ever have questions about Skyline or are interested in a tour of our building, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I’d be happy to show you what makes Skyline so special!
