Monthly Pack-time activities are some of the most looked-forward-to parts of the school year for Sagewood elementary students.  During this time, students of combined grade levels get together and work on an activity to bring the entire student body together around an important skill, lesson or cause.  This month, it meant keeping the focus on Kindness as students worked on posters that now hang throughout their school.

During Pack-time, conversations surrounded ways students could go above and beyond their everyday efforts to be kind to others.  Students brainstormed out-of-the-box ideas and created posters so all students and staff had daily reminders of exceptional ways they could #BeKind as they walked down the halls.

The #BeKind movement is a metro-wide initiative about the power of kindness and the impact positivity can have on those around us.  EPS schools are joining other school districts throughout the Metro in raising awareness and incorporating kindness more heavily into the daily lives of our students.
