Elkhorn Public Schools prioritizes keeping parents informed. As such, the District utilizes the SchoolMessenger Notification System to send phone calls and emails to parents to provide important information about district closures, school happenings, and emergencies.
When utilizing the SchoolMessenger system, it is important to note the following:
- Caller ID will display the school district’s main number (402) 289-2579 when a general, district announcement is delivered such as a weather-related school closing.
- Caller ID will display your school’s phone number when a general announcement from your school’s principal is delivered.
- Caller ID will display 411 if the message is an emergency.
- SchoolMessenger is set up to leave a message on an answering machine or voicemail.
The successful delivery of information is dependent upon accurate contact information. If parent/guardian contact information changes during the school year, please let us know immediately.
