Transporting of Students for Activities or Special Events by Employees

Generally, transportation of students shall be in a motor vehicle owned by the school district and driven by an employee. In some cases, it may be more economical or efficient for the school district to allow an employee of the school district to transport the students in the employee’s motor vehicle. Anytime district transportation is not provided, a waiver must be signed by parents.

Employees who transport students for school purposes must have the prior permission of the superintendent or designee.
