Review of Administrative Regulations

The superintendent has responsibility for carrying out the policies established by the board. As board policies are adopted for the guidance of the administration, it shall be the administrator’s responsibility to develop regulations, as needed to implement the board policies. The board will adopt administrative regulations only when specifically required to do so by law, the board’s initiative, or when requested to do so by the administration.

Administrative rules, regulations and handbooks will be reviewed and approved by the board at least annually or when specific state or federal laws require the board to do so or when the board or superintendent considers such approval desirable.
