Spring (sports) physicals for students who grades 8-12 will be held on May 3 at Skyline Medical Center from 7-11AM. Appointments may be scheduled any time after April 1. Appointments are highly recommended, as walk-ins will be asked to wait for the next available time slot. Physicals must be dated after May 1, 2014 in order for students to participate in activities for the 2014-2015 school year.

The ESHS DECA group would like to thank all who donated during the Miracle Minute, which took place at the EHS vs. ESHS basketball game. A total of $396 was collected for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
ESHS will present “Grease” March 27-29 at 7 p.m., with a matinee performance on March 30 at 2 p.m. Tickets are available in advance for $8 at showtix4u.com or $10 at the door.
Elkhorn South High School uses the same set of standards for all extra-curricular programs. This standard follows the NSAA rule of 20 credit hours passed the previous semester. This is the equivalent of four full-time classes, passed. This rule applies to ALL extra-curricular groups at ESHS.
The NSAA (Nebraska Schools Activities Association) has informed schools of the no contact period for activities. December 22nd-26th there will be no practices for EPS students. NSAA Moratorium – All buildings will be closed for all activities, including outside groups, throughout the entire District December 22-26.

The Elkhorn South school newspaper “Storm Alert!” received the top honor, a Cornhusker Award, from the Nebraska High School Press Association. The ESHS Notus yearbook was also recognized with an Award of Distinction.
