My New Year’s resolution is to try to play with my neighbors’ everyday.  This will be easy to do since they just got a new Wii.  I think that the baseball game is the best.  It is not anything like a real baseball.  When you bat, you can’t see your feet out of the corner of your eye like you can in real baseball.  I like the baseball game the best because you never know how fast they will throw it.  It is a mystery.  I like mysteries!  Playing Wii will make my New Year’s resolution fun.

I wish I could fly.  I want to fly over buildings.  I would fly like a bird and go so fast.  Then no one could catch me.

When I’m cold I feel like I’m sick and I need to see a doctor.  Sometimes I’m mad at winter because it’s too cold out there.  The cold makes me feel wet and freezing, when I don’t want to be.  It is so hard to try and make myself warm.

A snowflake is like a crystal because they each have different patterns and shapes.  Its crystal like arms bond together to make a perfect pattern.  Snowflakes reflect in the light, making them sparkle with many different colors.  It also reminds me of a bubble.  Because a bubble reflects the light and makes different colors too.

A snowflake is like a very dainty flower because it melts in your hands.

My New Year’s resolution will be to try new foods because I usually don’t like to try new things.

When I’m cold, I feel like I’ve been deep in the snow.  Just like the feeling when an ice cream cone touches my tongue.  I feel like I have been frozen, and it will take me months to get thawed out.  I can’t wait until the hot summer sun comes back out.

A personal wish I have is to have a super power like flying, super speed, reading minds, or super strength.  If I had a super power I could do things.  If I could fly, I wouldn’t have to run places.  If I had the power of super speed, I could take something from my brother without him knowing it would be mine.  If I could read minds, I could hear what people were thinking about.  Or if I had super strength, I could grab a bullet.  Now that would be cool!

When I’m cold I feel as frozen as an ice cube.  I feel hot, when I’m actually cold.  I can’t move.  I hope someone will take me out of this ice cube tray!

When it’s cold, I feel cold and warm.  My house is warm, but sometimes my house is a little cold.  I like the cold, but I like to stay warm when it’s cold outside. I wear three things so I can be warm.  I wear a warm sweater, a fleece jacket, and a long-sleeved shirt. I am so warm in my fleece-lined jacket, that’s what I wear for going to school.  I like to be warm all the time. That’s my story.

My New Year’s resolution is to keep my room clean for the whole year!  I chose this resolution because last year I had to clean my room like 1,000 times.  It took me almost 2 hours every time. I hated it!  That’s why it is my New Year’s resolution.

When I’m cold I feel like drinking hot cocoa.  It is really cold outside and when I drink hot cocoa, I’m not cold anymore.

My New Year’s resolution is that I’m going to study harder in mathematics.  Math is hard.  When I take the math tests, I will know the answers from studying.  I will probably get some wrong or maybe all of them right.  But I will do better if I practice more.  It will make me feel so good when I get 100% that I’ll want to show the teachers and my mom.

When I’m cold I feel like an ice cube, all wet and frozen. If I stay outside too long, then it is hard to get warm.

On one of the days during Winter break, I spent the day outside. It was a boys’ day with my Grandpa, Dad, my brother, and I.  We headed to my grandpa’s house and went tobogganing down a fast hill.  When we got done, we were pulled back up the hill by the truck.  I could feel it in my skin.  My skin felt really cold.  I couldn’t even feel my fingers!  It was a fun day!

When I’m cold I feel sad.  I go inside and I cry.  My legs hurt and my body aches.  Everything hurts!  My mom warms me up by giving me a lot of blankets and giving me tea.  When I’m cold I get more attention.  I love my mom, especially when she takes care of me.

Text Box: When I’m cold I feel shivery and jumpy. My arms and legs feel like they are stinging. It makes me shiver. When the cold wind passes through me, it gets worse. All I want to do is go inside and get some hot chocolate.
