The mission of the Skyline School Community is to create lifelong learners in a safe environment that promotes respect, responsibility, academic growth, and social development.
From the Principal
Welcome to Skyline Elementary School where students are leaping into learning and growing into the leaders of the future. We are a suburban school with 320 students from the grade levels starting at kindergarten through the 5 th grade. Our students come from 12 housing developments with families who are very supportive and involved in the educational progress of their children. We provide a safe learning environment with a positive climate where everyone is encouraged to work together and achieve to the best of their abilities. Our staff, parents, and community members create a collaborative team which enhances the learning opportunities for all of the Skyline students.
Skyline provides students at each grade level strong core academic programs that build an educational foundation which is enhanced with many support programs in the following areas: High Ability Learner Education (H.A.L.E.), reading resource, Special Education, computer/technology classes, speech/language, media, art, music, physical education, Spanish, and guidance. The national normed academic scores of Skyline students are well above the national average.
The staff and students at Skyline Elementary welcome you to visit our school. We believe that Skyline is a place where everyone feels at home and is a part of the Skyline Stallion team. We have a dedicated staff that provides our students with an excellent educational experience through excitement and an enthusiasm for the learning process.
