The books in our library media center are for use by all teachers and students. While students are always welcome in the media center, we expect them to respect their fellow classmates working in the library and use quiet voices.

Students are scheduled for check out once a week. Kindergarten students' check out time is included in their weekly media class. Students in 1st-5th grade are given 15 minutes once a week to check out books. In addition, students who finish their book before their next check out and who have their teacher's permission are allowed to check out books when media classes are not being held in the library media center. Books are due one week from the date they were checked out.

Students with overdue books are not charged fines. However, students are not allowed to check out any new library materials until their overdue materials are returned. Students who damage or lose library materials will be responsible for paying replacement costs.

Students in kindergarten-3rd grade are allowed to check out one book at a time. Students in 4th and 5th grade are allowed to check out two books at a time.
