Mrs. Dallegge: Your Guide to the Library Media Center! |
| Welcome! I am thrilled to be your guide on your tour through the Manchester Library Media Center. The media center is an exciting place, where students can find books to read for pleasure or for information. In addition to our print resources, we offer students Internet access and an opportunity to use computers for a variety of class projects. Use the links on the left to help you tour the library. Our "Library Policies" page answers questions about the number of books that can be checked out, how long a student can keep library materials, and fines. The "Curriculum" page lets you know what your child will be learning in the library media center. The "Online Safety" page gives you some tips for talking to your kids about being safe online. Check back in the near future for links about the Nebraska Golden Sower award, book talks, and other library news. |

Mrs. Dallegge's Mission Statement My mission is to encourage my students to believe in themselves, so that they can reach their full potential. I will help them develop high self-confidence and a positive, “I Can!” attitude. I have high expectations of my students and will motivate them to achieve. I will empower my students to respond to challenges they may face by helping them develop problem-solving skills. I am enthusiastic in the lessons I teach and instill a love of learning in my students, so that they may develop into life long learners. I care about my students and treat them with respect, as well as expect them to respect one another. I am a reflective teacher and periodically assess the progress I have made on my personal and professional goals. I am an active participant in professional development and life-long learning. |
