What are Call Numbers?

*We find them on the spine of the book

*They are like the book's address

*We use them to help us locate books in the library

*Each type of book in the library has a different type of call number

See the table below for the four main types of call numbers we have in our library.

Easy Fiction and Fiction call numbers are arranged in alphabetical order by the author's last name.

Non Fiction and Reference call numbers are arranged in number order using the Dewey Decimal System.
