In September 2006, student council started selling suckers and Smencils.  They sell these to students every other Friday morning.  Smencils are pencils that smell good and are made of recycled newspaper.  They are selling for $1.00 each.  Some of the smells are cherry, rootbeer, and orange.  Our suckers come in many different sizes, colors, and shapes. The suckers sell for 50 cents each.        Also, we are doing spirit stores.  That is when student council sell pencils, bookmarks, T-shirts, and more!  With all that money student council is planning to buy some picnic tables for out by the playground.  Student council has been working very hard this year!      Below are pictures of the student council sponsors.  The sponsors are 4th or 5th grade teachers at Manchester.  They work with student council members during lunch.
