The job of the Safety Patrol is to keep people safe. They do this by stopping cars and helping students cross the streets safely.  Safety Patrol meets before and after school. This year we have 17 members on the Safety Patrol squad.  After the first of the year, any 5th grader not currently on Safety Patrol who is interested in joining the squad is trained.  At the end of the year it is the current safety patrol members job to train the 4th grade students to take over the Safety Patrol job the following year.
