Fine and Preforming Arts

ART: Elkhorn Public Schools Fine Arts is a K-12 sequential program taught by certified art teachers.  Students learn art skills and concepts within a Disciplined Based Art Education and follows National Standards for Arts Education in Fine Arts of history, aesthetics, production, criticism, and cultural studies. Students engage in traditional art forms, as well as technological skills to prepare for the visual culture of the 21st century.

MUSIC: Elkhorn Public Schools Musical Performing Arts is a K-12 sequential program taught by certified music teachers. Students learn vocal and band skills that follow National Standards for Arts Education in Music of history, aesthetics, skills, criticism, and cultural studies. Musical performances and plays, select performances, middle school and high school band, and a marching band are just a few of the opportunities offered.

THEATER: Elkhorn Public Schools Theatrical Performing Arts is a K-12 sequential program taught by certified theater teachers. Students learn theatrical skills that follow National Standards for Arts Education in Theater of history, aesthetics, skills, criticism, and cultural studies. One act plays, drama teams, community plays, and competitions are just a few of the opportunities offered.
