Planning
As part of the board’s long-range plan for the school district’s education program, the board shall include the buildings and sites needs for the education program. It shall be the responsibility of the superintendent to oversee the development, maintenance and periodical updating of a School District Facilities Master Plan. The Master Plan will incorporate such things as population projections, enrollment projections, site acquisition needs, school plant placement, and determination of financial resources, requirements and availability for providing the necessary facilities. The Facilities Master Plan will include evaluations of existing facilities in meeting educational program goals.
