Communicable Disease Control and Immunization Program
The public schools shall cooperate with state and county health departments in developing procedures for the prevention and control of communicable diseases in the schools. All procedures shall conform to the regulations for communicable disease control as determined by state and county Health Departments.
A limited number of school immunization programs under the direction of the Nebraska Department of Health will be scheduled when there is a special need. The need for a school immunization program is based on estimated school and community immunization levels, and shall be determined by the Superintendent.
