Support Staff Member Family and Medical Leave
Unpaid family and medical leave will be granted up to 12 weeks per year to assist employees in balancing family and work life. A maximum of 12 weeks is available to eligible employees in any rolling 12-month period. Requests for family and medical leave shall be made to the superintendent and shall be processed on forms adopted by the district. To be eligible for family and medical leave, the staff member must be employed by the district for at least the twelve prior months and must work a minimum of 1,250 hours per year.
